Our Services
Share the Spirit Foundation provides children the opportunity to step into a new pair of shoes including a clean pair of socks. We fulfill that mission in several ways: we hold Shoes for Kids shopping events at our partner shoe stores where volunteers help each child select the perfect shoe; we transport the shoes to kids in rural Colorado with our inventory loaded in the Shoe Cruizer and when school kids are in immediate need, we have implemented Shoe Clozets to fill that basic need of shoes and socks on the spot.
Shoes for Kids
A new pair of shoes can truly transform a child's life. It not only boosts their self-confidence but also empowers them to actively participate in sports and physical activities. It promotes better hygiene and foot care, ensuring their overall well-being. Moreover, it teaches them the value of respect, both for themselves and others.
Shoe Clozet
In addition to holding in-store events, we have created a number of “Shoe Clozets” containing hundreds of shoes for students in immediate need. We opened our first Clozet in 2014 and now partner with many schools in Illinois and Colorado. The Clozets give the school staff the opportunity to promptly fill the needs of new shoes to students. The shoe inventory is kept at the school and is monitored and replenished several times through the year.
